“Trystan is a first generation farmer. We have a commercial flock of sheep and a Pedigree Beltex flock which produces our own high quality Welsh lamb. Since moving to Sarn, we have started to keep pigs to produce our own pork. We have recently purchased Dexter cows so that we can produce our own beef.
We established the butchery business as a diversification project in September 2024 with a view of producing high quality, Welsh meat straight to the consumer. Trystan learnt the skill of butchery during a previous employment and therefore prepares the meat in a purpose built unit on the farm. All our meat is non-religiously slaughtered.”
Since May 2025, we have taken a stall to Machynlleth Market to sell our products.
